The five partner Universities of NCCR Robotics are committed to further education and as a result all four offer different Doctoral Programmes and PhD opportunities. Please note that any questions should be directed directly to the partner universities.
At EPFL, the Doctoral School in Manufacturing Systems and Robotics (EDPR) aims to teach all students about design, development and management of robotic systems. The programme teaches, amongst other things, smart autonomous behaviour, high dynamics, precision and extreme miniaturisation, flexibility, reliability and mechatronics – all valuable skills required for a career in robotics in academia or industry ensuring that graduates will be fully equipped for their future jobs.
At the doctoral school students follow set classes and are in charge of their own projects.
At the other four partner Universities, opportunities for PhD studentships are managed by individual professors. Please refer to departmental websites on a regular basis.
